THe savoury gluten-free baker: 60 delicious recipes for the gluten intolerant

Despre carte

Baking has always been the most difficult aspect of the gluten-free diet to overcome—until now. Using clever substitutes and ingenious baking methods, Hannah Miles has created a selection of delicious gluten-free versions of everyone’s favorite savory bakes. From Muffins & Scones to enjoy at teatime or with a soup for lunch, to ideas for Breads & Dough made with gluten-free alternatives to wheat flour, Hannah will show just how easy it is to enjoy foods such as Brioche or Calzone, which are usually off the menu. Small Bites such as Pork and Apple Sausage Rolls or Cheese Straws are great to enjoy as everyday snacks and also perfect for parties. Pies & Tarts make a great simple supper—try Creamy Asparagus Tart or Chilli Pumpkin Tarte Tatin—or turn to the Baked Meals chapter to find recipes for Gluten-free Lasagne or Savory Chicken Crumble. Also included is advice on buying and cooking with gluten-free ingredients, such as flours, and keeping a gluten-free kitchen. This book is a must for the gluten intolerant, or for those who like to bake for gluten-intolerant family members or friends.
