Little did their cartoonist Allan Plenderleith think that when he created Jeff, Maude, Billy, Moira, Dug, Lily, Alf and the dog, he would still be drawing them 20 years later - if he had he might have thought twice and got a proper job! They haven't changed much thankfully - Jeff has a little less hair and slightly bigger stomach, Maude is still morbidly obese but doesn't know it, and the dog still delights in leaving something hot and smelly in Jeff's slipper. Long live the Odd!
